What is Construction and Demolition (C&D)
debris in Douglas County, Oregon?

And what does that mean for me?

Definition Taken from Douglas County Codesave money
"Solid waste and building materials resulting from the construction, demolition, deconstruction, remodeling, repair, and cleanup of buildings and other structures, including, but not limited to, wood, plaster, metals, asphaltic substances, bricks, block, asphalt and concrete."

This means ANY debris and waste generated from a construction, remodel, or demolition site.  The origin of the waste is not the issue, it is the make up.

As of January 1, 2008 a $60.00 per ton fee is assessed upon all C&D waste entering the solid waste stream.  This fee is applied to all loads over one cubic yard. Loads of one cubic yard or larger can only be accepted at the Roseburg and Reedsport transfer stations.
